Nicole's Kitchen is incredibly excited to host filmmaker Maryam Keshavarz and her monumental cultural film THE PERSIAN VERSION for a late afternoon of Iranian food, music, conversations and discussions between Nicole and Maryam. The film is the first major motion picture release from the Iranian-American Diaspora. It won the prestigious Sundance Audience Award and is on shortlists for the Academy Awards. It is based on the story of the filmmaker's life and anchored by 3 generations of Iranian women building businesses and families in America. Our event will represent the true energy and themes of the film which is love, food, dance and family!
